What topics do you offer?

I’ve developed a diverse toolbox in my years coaching and facilitating. I use frameworks and tools that are ACTIONABLE and MEMORABLE. I only choose models that are simple, are easy to remember, and work well.

I can offer sessions on the following topics:

THE BIG PICTURE

  • Goals (with Design Thinking principles)
  • Strategy (with Design Thinking principles)
  • Vision (WHY the company exists, using Sinek’s framework)
  • Mission (HOW the company will achieve its vision, using Sinek’s framework)

  • Team/ relationship building (using Lencioni’s 5 Behaviors of a Team framework)
  • Growing trust intentionally and naturally

  • Social styles in the workplace (using Wilson’s Social Styles and Myers-Briggs assessments)

How do your engagements work?

The easiest way to figure this out is for us to have a quick 15-minute call.

We’ll brainstorm on what you want to create, and from there, I should have enough information to see if we’ll be a good fit.

If we are a good fit, we’ll meet again to understand the best ways for me to help you.

Then, I’ll create a customized Statement of Work to lay out a timeline based on your goals.

What kind of facilitation do you do?

I do interactive, participant-led facilitation. I’m allergic to boring, all-day team building that’s not relevant or focused on the participants.

Along with more “traditional” facilitation methods and powerful conversational techniques, I use different activities and techniques to keep people’s brains activated depending on the audience, their preferences, and the goals of the sessions/ workshops.

These might include:

  • Design Thinking principles and techniques
  • LEGO Serious Play
  • Various leadership, communication, and thinking frameworks and models (I’ve given a few examples in my list of speaking topics above)
  • Improv and fast-paced games, as well as games that encourage movement and participation
  • Drawing exercises
  • Music
Why should I choose you over other speakers or facilitators?

Well, you SHOULDN’T necessarily choose me over other speakers or facilitators.

Depending on what comes up in our brainstorming session, I might refer you to someone else who I think would be a better fit for you.

My specialties are leadership and brand integration, business optimization and strategy, personal branding, and outsmarting Imposter Syndrome.

If you’re not looking for help anywhere near those ballparks, I’ll try to help you figure out who you should be looking for.

Why can having a facilitator be helpful?

Personally, I think having an outside facilitator can be helpful because often, you’re too close to your organization to see the opportunities for improvement.

From a business standpoint, working with the right facilitator can be one the most cost-effective ways to make your people and your organization more effective.  (AKA: helps the business make a lot more money!)

What's your facilitation style like?

As a former teacher and university lecturer, my style is open and experiential. In my 20’s, I was a high school teacher, and learned VERY quickly how deadly using boring content will be. It turns out, adults don’t like being bored any more than teenagers do!

That’swhy I ensure that I do a lot of work BEFORE the sessions to ensure that my content is tailored to the group’s needs, relevant, interesting, and FUN. No one has time for boring trust fall workshops….least of all, me!

You can watch a video of a virtual workshop I conducted here.

Why choose me for speaking and facilitating?

As a business coach, facilitator, and speaker, I’ve worked with companies in the areas of trust building, goal achievement, ownership, culture, communication, and leadership.

With over 20 years in the leadership field and living by the concepts I teach, I work with businesses to create leaders and a proficient team who then take their operations and systems to new levels.
